Introducing the MoFEPT’s Summer Interns

The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training (MoFEPT) is excited to announce the onboarding of five Teach for Pakistan fellows for a month-long internship programme. The interns will be housed in the Pakistan Foundational Learning Hub and the Project Coordination Unit. They will support the MoFEPT’s Summer Fiesta Camps and will be involved in various activities pertaining to the recent Federal Foundational Learning Policy, specifically focusing on developing a teacher-training course for primary school teachers.

Zainab Bashir

Zainab is an aspiring educator and a dedicated community organizer. She is currently a teaching fellow at Teach For Pakistan. As a Global UGRAD alumni, she is involved in initiatives that builds strong resilient community through advocacy, education and collaborative projects. Zainab is committed to understanding and addressing the systemic disparities that pervade educational systems.

Minahil Tariq

Minahil holds a Bachelor's in Law from LUMS and is currently teaching English and Social Studies to 5th graders as a Teach for Pakistan Fellow. She is passionate about Child Rights and is working with her students to educate them about their rights and develop their literacy skills.

Hamza Razaq

Hamza Razaq studied Politics and International Relations from QAU and is currently a teaching fellow with Teach For Pakistan. He is also the founder of the EHSAAS Youth Welfare Organisation (EYWO), where he works to enhance education in his native village, and a published research writer with articles featured in Modern Diplomacy, Global Village Space, Dawn, and Tribune.

Saleha Rashid

Saleha holds a degree in Medical Imaging Technology from Rawalpindi Medical University. Currently a Fellow at Teach for Pakistan, she is dedicated to delivering quality STEM education and empowering girls. Her experience as an in-service education trainer and her participation in the STEAM Education Leadership Workshop by Teach for All have equipped her with leadership skills that she integrates into her teaching approach.

Ashraf Ali

Ashraf Ali is a teaching fellow at Teach for Pakistan with a BA-LLB degree from LUMS. Ashraf believes in the power of collective change through education and advocacy. Ashraf is dedicated to making a positive impact in his community. With a commitment to equity and improving access to quality education, Ashraf strives to play his part in bringing about meaningful change in the education system.
